Pillows! I could talk about pillows all day long! Pillows are the one decorative piece you can update consistently and change the whole feeling of a room. Small decorative pillows can add texture, color, comfort, and a feeling to the room! Instead of changing out your whole couch, just change the pillows! I definitely have a pillow fetish.

I particularly like the long neck pillows but you should mix it up with a variety of shapes and textures. Add some fancy pillows, soft and fuzzy pillows, silky pillows, even tasseled pillows! But to maintain that visual flow you need to be consistent. Use unifying colors and try mixing textures. I personally prefer solids for the pillows and if I do a patterned pillow it has to be a blended soft kind of pattern.
